So I’ve been given a couple of websites I thought I would pass along.

The first site is Heart Support. It’s for people who may feel like they don’t know where to go for help with addiction, eating disorders, depression, etc. Even if they have friends or family, it doesn’t mean they can talk about their problems with them, so this website was set up as a resource. Check it out or send it on. It may help someone.

The other site Lori sent me. It’s a good place to get rid of those old cell phones that everyone has laying around. Cell Phones for Soldiers is a charity that accepts old cell phones and uses the money they receive from recycling them to send prepaid calling cards to soldiers over seas. What else are you going to do with all of those old cell phones?

Just got the word, the part two of Anita Blake: First Death is out now. I haven’t gotten my hands on it yet, but I can’t wait for it. More good news, a release date has been set for the 16th Anita book Blood Noir. It’s due to be out June 3rd of next year. If I haven’t mentioned this before, you can find an excerpt from book 7 of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series on her website. There’s not really a direct link I can post, but just check out her website and click on the menu heading “excerpts” and you should be able to find it. If you’re a fan of Kelley Armstrong and you haven’t found her online novellas yet, then I suggest you do so. The novellas supplement the Otherworld series, but I’ve heard you don’t need to have read the series to understand the novellas. Sweet! The publisher moved the release date of the Darkest Kiss by Keri Arthur up from September to April of next year. I love it when I can get a book six months early.

We have to wait until next August, but I’ve heard it doesn’t all include Artemis. So it’s definitely going to get interesting.
