All Hallows Eve

They come once a year
to spook, to haunt, to play pranks.
They come out one dark night
the werewolves, the witches and goblins;
they give nightmares to little children;
vampires, fairies, and warlocks.
All Hallows Eve they gather
to plot and scheme
to cause mischief and mayhem;
All Hallows Eve they gather
a night for spells and a night for pain.
Beware of All Hallows Eve
for they come for practical jokes.
Halloween night
is a night for fun.
